Dating Profile Photoshoot in Prague

Q: How much does a dating photoshoot in Prague cost?

There are three packages. Silver costs 5400 CZK: 30 minutes, 1 outfit and 5 edited photos. Gold costs 6900 CZK: 1 hour, 2 outfits and 10 edited photos. Platinum costs 8900 CZK: 90 minutes, 3 outfits and 15 edited photos. Each extra edited photo costs 300 CZK. You pay a 30% deposit to book and the other 70% by the end of the shoot. There is no travel fee inside Prague.

Alena Gurenchuk, dating photographer in Prague

I am Alena Gurenchuk. I have been taking photos for 20 years, and for 13 of them I have worked as a professional photographer in Prague. I have photographed more than 1,000 clients, and dating profile photos are one of my specialties. They look natural: you look like yourself, at your best.

Most people meet online today, and your first photo decides if someone stops at your profile. My photos work for any dating app or site, for example Hinge, Bumble, Badoo or Tinder. We shoot outdoors in Prague for 30 to 90 minutes, and I help you with outfits and posing.

Your photos are the first thing people see on a dating profile. A professional shoot gives you natural, sharp photos in good light, in several outfits and places.

Most of my clients are ordinary people, not models. Many of them thought they were not photogenic.
Best places and light
Typical places are Vyšehrad, Stromovka park, Grébovka (Havlíčkovy sady), Prague Castle, Letná park and Kampa island. You choose the places, other places are possible on request, and we usually shoot early morning or before sunset.

You book online, pay a 30% deposit, and we shoot on the agreed day. Within 72 hours you get a preview gallery to choose your photos, and the edited photos are ready 10-15 business days after you confirm your choice, in every package.

Makes such a big difference when person loves their job and are so passionate about it. Really recommend Alena as a photographer in Prague, very professional and thoughtful.On the day of our photoshoot it was raining and Alena managed to find time to squedule shoot for us for another day checking the weather conditions in early morning . К сожалению, поделюсь негативным опытом. Алёна не отдала фотографии вовремя (а ждали мы их полтора месяца). В последний день оговорённого срока не посчитала нужным даже написать и извиниться. На наше вежливое сообщение, которое мы написали уже на следующий день, ответила хамством. Сказала, что начала уже работать над фотографиями, но ничего обещать не может, ведь они не делаются 5 минут. Что делала Алена полтора месяца - не понятно. Очень неприятно осознавать, что фотографии, которые ты так ждёшь с одного из важнейших событий в жизни, будут сделаны на скорую руку за пару дней. Выслала фотографии Алена через три дня после условленного срока. Качество оставляло желать лучшего 🙁 Особенно несколько не резких фотографий, фокус не на объекте съемки. Опять же на вежливую просьбу как-то это исправить (возможно поискать среди отснятого материала фотографию с правильным фокусом), Алена ответила, что все фотографии сделаны качественно, так было задумано и других фотографий нет 🙁 Сложилось впечатление, что Алене абсолютно все равно, останется ли ее клиент доволен...

С Алёной очень приятно общаться, проводить фотосессию, она всегда поможет с выбором образа, одежды, а во время фотосессии помогает с позированием и подсказывает места для съемки. Prague is definitely my favorite City so far and obviously for my wedding "trash the dress" Fotoshooting I've wanted to take pictures in Prague, well if you want a Fotoshooting, with memorable fotos, i definitely recommend Alena Gurenchuk!! A year ago, my husband and I spent a weekend in Prague to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. I had long wanted to try another photo shooting, because we didn't get a lot of nice pictures at our wedding day due to time limitations. Alena did an absolutely stellar job in creating both nicely composed and natural-looking photos despite the two of us not being the most photogenic subjects. She is also not just a good photographer, but a very nice and gentle person, perfect for people who are a bit shy in front of the camera! Я долго искала фотографа в Праге, среди всех выбрала Алёну и осталась очень довольна своим решением! С самого начала она ответила подробно на все мои вопросы (оказывается, не все это могут, что меня удивило, но это не про Алёну!), затем помогала мне в выборе одежды, так как у меня возникли некоторые трудности с этим, помогла определиться с маршрутом в соответствии с моими пожеланиями, предложила прекраснейший сад, о котором я не знала. В момент выбора маршрута я решилась на более длительную фотосессию, так как поняла, что хочется охватить больше знаковых мест в Праге! Во время самой фотосессии мне было очень комфортно с Алёной, она приятная в общении и вежливая, никаких проблем не возникло, впечатления от процесса фотографирования исключительно положительные, это был практически мой первый подобный опыт, и мне было очень легко и интересно! Я не умею позировать, и Алёна говорила мне, куда встать и как, что исправить, так что в итоге фотографии получились разнообразными и оригинальными. Так же учитывала и все мои пожелания, конечно же. Когда я получила фотографии, то была так довольна ими, они просто чудесные!!! А некоторые с первого же просмотра особенно запали в душу, настолько они получились необычными на мой взгляд! Я до сих пор их все рассматриваю, показываю своим знакомым, и хочу сделать отдельный фотоальбом с ними! Спасибо огромное Алёне за прекрасные фотографии и новый удачный опыт в моей жизни!

Открывая новые уголки и страны, мы чувствуем себя гораздо счастливее, чем в повседневной жизни. А после путешествия согреваемся тёплыми воспоминаниями о пережитых в эйфории мгновениях. И как же хочется те самые мгновения счастья запечатлеть на долгие годы. Нам с мужем очень хотелось устроить профессиональную фотосессию в сказочной Праге. На поиски фотографа мы первым делом отправились в Instagram, забивая различные хэштеги вроде #фотографпрага Именно так мы и вышли на страницу Алёны Гуренчук, чьи работы выделялись на фоне остальных - атмосферные, живые и тёплые. А ещё нам очень понравился её сайт с портфолио и подробным описанием цен на услуги. Во время личного общения Алёна посоветовала локацию и лучшее время суток для съемки. Мы встретились ранним утром на пустынном Карловом мосту. Наша фотосессия пролетала настолько быстро, легко и непринуждённо. Мы с мужем кормили чаек, танцевали и смеялись от души, кружились рядом с лебединой стаей, загадывали желания у статуй, а вовсе не стояли в застывших и искусственных позах. Алёна лишь аккуратно нас направляла. А ещё показывала не истоптанные толпами туристов волшебные места города, такие как Вояновы сады с живущими там павлинами, например. За всё это мы безумно благодарны! Наша семья осталась в полнейшем восторге как от процесса, так и от полученных фотографий. Теперь Прага навсегда останется в нашей памяти и сердцах �

Last June 2017 we were lucky to meet Alena for a photo shoot. She proposed to meet us at 6 am !!! We were on vacation and it was not easy to set the alarm at 5:30 am, but it really was worth it. Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive the photos?

Within 72 hours after the photoshoot you get a link to a preview gallery with all photos. You choose your favourites for editing within 30 days; after that, I choose them for you. The edited photos are ready 10-15 business days after you confirm your selection, in every package. You get them as high-resolution JPEG files through an online gallery, which is available for download for 2-3 months.

What time do you recommend for a photo shoot?

The best time is early morning or just before sunset. In the morning the light is soft, and the city centre has fewer people, but you need to start early. In the evening the golden light lasts longer, the public gardens are open and your morning is free, but there are usually more people around.

Is the photoshoot private? Will my photos be shared?

Yes, every dating photoshoot is private by default. I never publish your photos without your permission. If you agree, I can show some edited photos in my portfolio on the website or on social media. Some clients like this because it brings more attention to their profile. You can also say no, and it does not change the price or the quality of your photos.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain is not a problem. I have a transparent umbrella for unique rainy photos, and on rainy days there are fewer people even in busy places. If heavy rain makes a good shoot impossible, we move it to another day, and your deposit moves to the new date. If you do not want raindrops to show on your clothes, wear leather or dark fabrics.

What if it's cold?

Take a hot drink from a nearby cafe: it keeps you warm and helps you relax during the shoot. On really cold days, wear thermal layers under your outfit. Shops like Decathlon sell them. This way you stay comfortable for the whole photoshoot, and we can still shoot outdoors in Prague in winter.

Where in Prague do we shoot?

We shoot outdoors at typical places in Prague: Vyšehrad, Stromovka park, Grébovka (Havlíčkovy sady), Prague Castle, Letná park and Kampa island. You choose the places, and other places are possible on request. Before the shoot I send you the list of locations. There is no travel fee inside Prague. Outside Prague, in the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria, the travel fee is € 0.49 per km.

What should I wear for the photo shoot?

I help you choose the best outfits from the clothes you already have. Before the shoot we discuss the details, and I send you outfit tips. The number of outfits depends on the package: 1 in Silver, 2 in Gold and 3 in Platinum. Read more in Help with choosing outfits for a photo shoot.

I've never done a photo shoot before. What should I expect?

That is completely fine: most of my clients are ordinary people, not models. I guide you at every step, from where to stand to how to pose and relax in front of the camera. Before the shoot you get my checklist “How to prepare for a photo shoot”. You can also read my recommendations here.

I don't think I'm photogenic. Can you help with that?

Yes. I believe that everyone has their own beauty and charm. “Not photogenic” usually means not relaxed in front of the camera. During the photoshoot I help you feel comfortable and show you how to pose. Many of my clients thought they were not photogenic before the shoot.

How much does a dating photoshoot in Prague cost?

There are three packages. Silver costs € 222.47: 30 minutes, 1 outfit and 5 edited photos. Gold costs € 284.27: 1 hour, 2 outfits and 10 edited photos. Platinum costs € 366.66: 90 minutes, 3 outfits and 15 edited photos. Each extra edited photo costs € 12.36. You pay a 30% deposit to book and the other 70% by the end of the shoot. There is no travel fee inside Prague.

How many photos do I get?

You get 5, 10 or 15 professionally edited photos, depending on the package: Silver, Gold or Platinum. You choose them yourself in the preview gallery. All unedited photos from the shoot are also included as JPEG files. Everything is in the online gallery for 2-3 months. Extra edited photos cost € 12.36 each, paid before delivery.

How long does the photoshoot take?

The photoshoot takes 30 minutes in the Silver package, 1 hour in Gold and 90 minutes in Platinum. A longer shoot gives you more outfits and more places: 1 outfit in Silver, 2 in Gold and 3 in Platinum. We agree on the exact time and place before the shoot, usually early morning or before sunset.

Which dating apps are the photos for?

The photos work for any dating app or dating site, because you get normal high-quality JPEG files. I take a variety of natural photos in different outfits and places, so you can fill your whole profile. Prague Dating Shoot is an independent photographer. It is not connected to any dating app.

How do I book and pay?

Send the booking form with your package and dates. I reply within a few hours. The booking is confirmed when we agree on the date, time and package and you pay a 30% deposit online by card, PayPal or QR bank transfer. You pay the other 70% by the end of the photoshoot, by card or in cash.

In which languages is the shoot?

The photoshoot can be in English, Russian or Czech. You can also write to me in any of these languages when you book: by the form, e-mail, Telegram, WhatsApp or Viber. During the shoot I explain every step and every pose in your language, so you can relax and think only about the photos.

Can I cancel or reschedule the photoshoot?

Yes. You can cancel free of charge within 24 hours after paying the deposit, if I have not started preparing your shoot. After that the deposit is not refunded. The first reasonable rescheduling is free: tell me at least 24 hours before the shoot, unless it is an emergency. Your deposit then moves to the new date.

What if I am late or cannot come?

Please tell me as soon as you know that you are late. If you are late, the shoot can be shorter, and the price stays the same. If you do not come within 30 minutes of the start time and do not contact me, it counts as a no-show, and the deposit is not refunded.

What does the editing include?

My editing is delicate and natural. It includes colour and light correction, cropping and basic portrait retouching: pimples, redness, bruises and gentle teeth whitening. You still look like yourself, and that matters on a dating profile. Advanced retouching is available as an extra service for an additional fee.

How long can I download my photos?

Your online gallery with the edited photos and all unedited JPEG files is available for download for 2-3 months. Please download all files in time and keep your own copy, for example on your computer or in the cloud. After this period the gallery may no longer be available, so do not wait until the last day.

Where can I use the photos?

You can use the photos for personal, non-commercial purposes: on your dating profiles and personal social media, for prints and for sharing with friends and family. The copyright stays with the photographer, and you get a non-exclusive licence. Commercial use, for example in advertising or on a company website, needs a separate written agreement.
